pH Kit

Despite previous clinical studies underestimating the value of a pH diagnostic tool, it is without question the most widely available, cost effective, non-invasive, and ethically acceptable method to measure the respiratory airways when linked to Pulmonary Pathologies.

Importantly, the pH level into the EBC can be used to signal some others pathologies, like allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis affecting children, the cough provoked by an acid reflux or it can be used as a bio-marker in specific working exposures involving allergic or immune conditions.
Currently specialized laboratories are required for measuring pH diagnosis, whereas it’s more demanding in the field because it is difficult to find Argon gas which is useful to ventilate the EBC sample from the CO2: This kind of gas is normally filled into big and heavy bottles, which are not easily transportable and normally confined in a laboratory environment.
The pH KIT gives to everyone requiring it, an economic, quick and easy pH measuring of the EBC without being supported by any specialized laboratory equipment, saving time and money because the “pH KIT” includes a small disposable cylinder filled with Argon gas.
In additions to the test equipment is compact, easy to transport and by incorporating a special mini pressure reducing valve with a micrometric tap valve, the gas flow is regulated in both quantity and pressure: this special cylinder is manufactured accordingly with the international security rules. All the items necessary for 50 pH measurement, lasting or consumable (as well as a special small cylinder filled with Argon gas), are contained in a shock-resistant durable case suitable for portability.
By using the “pH KIT” it is possible to measure the pH value directly on the collected sample of EBC, following the standard procedure used in every laboratory (particularly the ventilation of the sample with Argon gas to remove the CO2 exhaled), so as to achieve the same level of accuracy and reliability.
